The Colorado Stroke Advisory Board is an 18 member, Governor appointed board that is instructed to make recommendations regarding a statewide plan to improve the quality of care for stroke patients. The board meets monthly.
The Colorado Stroke Advisory Board’s mission is to provide guidance and resources to improve the continuum of stroke care for patients in Colorado through leading the understanding of stroke incidence, interventions, and treatment, enhancing public awareness of stroke symptoms, and advancing adaptation and use of emergent treatment options through integrated systems of acute and post-acute care.
